Quick Critical Pass Update

Hi everyone,

I do not have time for a lengthy post right now, but our discount code for Critical Pass has changed and the new link/code is Here (should that link not work the simple URL is http://criticalpass.refr.cc/ubestudying)

Evidence Hearsay Flowchart

Good Afternoon All,

Below I have attached two image versions of the hearsay flowchart I created today; initially a friend was supposed to do it, but he incorporated state law distinctions which made it very lengthy and more complicated than what UBE takers need. As always, feel free to contact me (or a member of our little team here) with questions, comments, concerns, requests, etc., via the Contact Page or via our instagram (ubestudying) or Twitter @UBEstudying.

The reason for the two images is that one seems to show color better than the other, but I also have them in two different sizes. If you are saving and printing, just make sure to select the “fit to page” option 🙂

Forthcoming Materials & Update

To my dear fellow Bar Examinees and Followers:

I wanted to provide a belated update on my last post. Last week I became quite sick and subsequently fell slightly behind in my personal study schedule, which is why the study aids (the charts and diagrams mentioned in my last post have yet to be uploaded. However, rest assured that I am rapidly catching up and fully intend on getting them to you in the near future! For the time being, please know that some of our other contributors are working on other charts and diagrams. I know one person is doing a criminal law chart that starts with Specific vs. General Intent and Strict liability and flows on from there, and another person is wading through the waters of hearsay and its exceptions. Please accept my apologies and stay tuned! Also, make sure to learn from my mistake and get enough sleep before you get sick! Happy Studying and do not forget to download our property charts if you have not already done so. If you are in stress/panic mode or significantly behind, it may be a good idea to look into our post on Critical Pass Flashcards and/or Studicata if you need to drill and memorize rules.

Requests?

Hi all, and happy weekend!

We wanted to take a moment to ask whether there are any particular areas of Property Law that you would like us to upload any charts, diagrams, or short outlines or explanations (per our understanding) for, and also inquire as to whether there are any requests or suggestions on what topics to do next and if there is anything specific you would like materials to focus on? The current plan is to do the MBE subjects first, but what order, what questions are out there, what formats or study aids do you like best? We would love to hear from you!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Studicata Bar Prep and Discount

Earlier this week, we posted about Critical Pass and their website, flashcards, sale and so forth and provided a discount code for their product. Studicata focuses on the UBE/MEE versions of the Bar Exam. Learn more about their materials and study methods on their Homepage and see whether you feel it is the right method for you.

At the bottom of their homepage, you can also download a free PDF of the 120 most tested rules per topic. Alternatively, you can click here and simply select your jurisdiction, allow for the page to redirect, enter your e-mail, and that’s it!

The folks over at Studicata were kind enough to provide us with a discount code that is good for a 20% discount off any purchase. The discount code is UBESTUDYING to reflect our twitter and instagram usernames and reiterate what we should all be doing 😉 Alternatively, the discount code AB1045 can be used to help reimburse a fellow UBE taker for his cost in purchasing the program (and he assures us that he would be happy to review the product for future exam takers)!

Happy studying and feel free to provide feedback on Studicata!

Future Interests

Below is a diagram of Future Interests as currently understood. We are open to hearing what other people think, and will be sure to send out an alert should this diagram fall victim to revision when reviewing the topic. For now, enjoy and note that we turned the image into a link that will open a new tab in your browser so you can see it at a better size before deciding whether or not to save.
